dark ventilation extra fee
My room did have a window, but it faced into a dark ventilation shaft. Natural light was nonexistent. The view was terrible. I asked for a different room and had to pay an extra fee to get one facing the outside. It was a small disappointment after an otherwise adequate visit.

limited fruit broken coffee machine
The breakfast service really frustrated me. the fruit selection seemed limited AND the coffee machine broke Down one morning. also, our room overlooked a dismal, dark ventilation shaft. It felt quite claustrophobic.

the room was beautiful, not modern. i liked that the bed was unbelievably comfortable! the pool was also a wonderful perk, and i used it every day.

comfortable stay!
great pool early checkin good coffee
The pool and whirlpool were great. It was nice to relax there after a day out. the hotel allowed me to check in early, really helpful after a long flight. the coffee machine in the room made good coffee. i appreciate that amenity.
i noticed tiny bugs crawling on the desk and wall, which i found unsettling!

Vegan breakfast options included soya milk, cereal, and fresh fruit to enjoy, though only cow butter was available for toasting bread. the restaurant food was good and had fair prices. It was a pleasant dining experience!

The room was large and the bathroom had nice features. I enjoyed the shower. there was also a convenient store just around the corner! the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, which makes the stay very good value.

helpful staff evening views strong odour stale air
the staff were VERY helpful. i did appreciate they upgraded our room and there were no issues with the new room. the top floor pool area was a lovely addition, the views in the evening were pretty good.
the room smelled when we entered IT. there was a strong odour like stale air and onions. the carpets in the rooms needs ripping out, and replacing with laminate.
